Hi there! I’m Matt Hays, a Software Engineer based in North Carolina. After serving in the US Marine Corps, I transitioned into tech, developing a strong foundation in DevOps and data engineering.

I’m passionate about creating scalable solutions and automating workflows using AWS, Python, and Databricks. I enjoy optimizing processes, refactoring systems to reduce technical debt, and streamlining operations. My expertise includes building CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions that enhance deployment efficiency.

Outside of work, I love exploring new technologies, whether it’s tinkering with my homelab, diving into 3D printing, or learning about horology.
